Let's face it...it's hard to stay positive all of the time. We all have days where we feel like we can't see light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe you are newly diagnosed with Lupus, or have been battling it for awhile. The fact of the matter is, Lupus is not fun to deal with period. I have an article on WebMD where Ellen Greenlaw provides us with 11 ways to cope with Lupus.
Number ten on her list hit home for me. When my mom was diagnosed I was mad at the world and really had a tough time accepting what was happening. I took to the internet and learned as much as I could. Don't get me wrong there is a ton of scary information out there and some of it seems all gloom and doom, but I came across some awesome support groups, and blogs. It inspired me to become more active in spreading awareness and eventually led to us creating our own organization, Lupus, Lynns, & Hope. Our Facebook Page is packed full of information, fun activities, and amazing Lupus patients! Hope you check it out!
